FOUNDATION
Objective of the Fondation Soeur Cécile Reneault Inc.
The primary objective of the Fondation Soeur Cécile Renault Inc. is to ensure the continuation of L'Accueil Sainte-Famille Inc., a residential home for abused women and children, and to provide financial support for the improvement of its facilities and services. L'Accueil primarily serves families in the Acadian Peninsula.
Secondary objectives
The foundation also provides financial support for various commitments and activities of the house:
- Raising awareness around the presence of violence in its various forms;
- Education, respect and non-violence;
- Advertising the existence of L'Accueil and the services it offers;
- Staff training;
Depending on its financial situation, the foundation may provide financial assistance to volunteer-based, non-profit organizations or associations whose objectives are to fight relational violence, improve the quality of life of families in New Brunswick society, and ensure collaboration between the province's various transition houses. Priority will be given to organizations on the Acadian Peninsula.
